Mulesoft Developer

We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Developer to join our international integration team supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives and API-led connectivity programs.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, enabling seamless communication between cloud and on-premise enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on MuleSoft development expertise, integration architecture understanding, and experience delivering high-quality APIs and middleware solutions within complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
• Build reusable APIs and integration services following API-led connectivity principles
• Develop integrations between CRM systems, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, databases, and third-party services
• Create and maintain:
  • System APIs
  • Process APIs
  • Experience APIs
• Develop RESTful and SOAP-based integrations
• Implement message transformations using DataWeave
• Configure and maintain API policies, security standards, and monitoring capabilities
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, QA teams, Product Owners, and business stakeholders
• Ensure high-quality development through unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices
• Troubleshoot integration issues and support production environments
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of integration services
• Maintain technical documentation and integration specifications

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience
• Strong experience with:
  • MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Mule 4
  • DataWeave
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP Web Services
  • API-led Connectivity
• Experience building and consuming APIs
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and enterprise integration architecture
• Experience with:
  • JSON
  • XML
  • RAML
  • HTTP/S
  • OAuth 2.0
  • JWT
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of Git and version control systems
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• German language skills are considered a strong advantage
