Application Analyst

• Work as part of the Applications Support team, providing system administration and end-user support for Finance applications: Oracle EBS, Onestream and Kyriba.
• Provide application and system administration support for other business applications covered by the Applications Support team.
• Provide user support by understanding business systems and processes to ensure timely problem resolution and minimise service interruptions.
• Work with third-party technical support teams on change requests, bug fixes and enhancements.
• Run daily, monthly, quarterly or yearly system processes, including testing and reconciliations.
• Analyse data and test system enhancements or changes to business applications in scope of the IT Applications 
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing, training activities and early-life application support.
• Document issues, changes and knowledge items using business change management tools including JIRA, Confluence and business incident / change management tools.
• Contribute to the creation and ongoing maintenance of operating procedures and training materials for the Applications Support team.
• Understand and adhere to IT compliance policy requirements in order to mitigate business application risk, including SOX and cyber security requirements.
• Participate in Finance system initiatives and implementations.
• Support project planning and delivery by tracking milestones, risks, issues and actions.

Educational/ Experience

• Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance or a related field.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Business Application Support Analyst in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams, third‑party vendors, and geographically distributed stakeholders.
• Experience supporting user enablement activities, including training, communications, and early‑life application support.
• Working knowledge of IT compliance and internal control frameworks (e.g. SOX).
• Experience using AI‑enabled tools to support analysis, process improvement, or decision‑making.

Technical/Functional

• Experience in supporting Enterprise Business Solutions incorporating Accounting, reporting and Accounts payable ( Oracle EBS , Onestream Etc)
• Experience in supporting business payment solutions (Kyriba etc)
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis, reconciliation, validation, and reporting.

• Awareness of IT‑compliance and security standards, including SOX.

• Experience applying AI‑enabled techniques for requirements analysis, automation, or process optimisation.
